Christine Bush (Government Major Account Manager for Sharp Electronics):

Hello. Thank you for coming in. I really appreciate your time today. So today we're gonna talk about the windows collaboration display and how it can help your environment. So the first thing that we're gonna do is introductions. And then we're gonna review your current situation, talk about resolutions for your situation, and then go through any questions that you may have and then talk about the next steps. So my name is Christine Bush. I'm the government major account manager for Sharp Electronics and I cover the Southeast. So my territory handles government, education, healthcare and major accounts. When we talk about your current environment, this is what we're focused on. So you are a LEED Gold certified headquarters with about 300 employees. Of those 300 employees, about 2/3 work on the go or from home. In your day to day operations, you have full use of Office 365, Skype for business and Azure Digital Twin. You also have many conference spaces that you're looking to redo. But you don't know your usage versus reservation of the rooms and you notice you're using it for collaborations with both employees that work outside of the office as well as customers.

Christine Bush is to the right side of the Windows collaboration display from Sharp, which she uses to give a presentation about it. She clicks the third option from the menu at the right-hand side towards the bottom to move onto the next slide.

So to help you in that environment, I want to introduce you to the Windows collaboration Display from Sharp. The Windows collaboration display is a 4K ultra high def 70 inch interactive display with anti glare, capacitive touch sensor technology, room scale Microsoft 365 and the Smart Edge Device. You can also see from the pictures down here. Below that, it has the connectivity options to work within your environment. Today I have my laptop connected via USB-C, but you can also connect wirelessly with Windows or Android devices. It does have integrated stereo speakers, Skype certified far field microphones as well as cameras to help you with your video conferencing, whether that be in Skype or Teams, and it also connects to your room systems.

She switches to a new slide and then points at her laptop which is connected via USB-C and is to the left of the screen.

Some of the parts that are important in the windows collaboration display that you won't find elsewhere is the sensor hub, which you see up here. The sensor hub actually has a camera, motion sensor, infrared receiver, a light sensor, air quality, connector on the back and a temperature sensor as well. And you can see that right here and then. this is the camera as well as the microphones. So let's talk about the built-in sensor hub. It does have the proximity, so a motion sensor will actually sense when someone walks into a room and wake the board up, which is nice if you're getting ready to start a conference so you don't have to do anything to go ahead and start. It does have a temperature and humidity sensor, which helps optimize air conditioning if it is connected to your Azure Digital Twins and can work within the environment. This is important in a conference space because you want people focused on what's going on and not on whether or not it is too hot or too cold in the room. It also has an air quality sensor and then our AI camera and microphone.

She points out the IoT sensor which is located at the top right-hand side of the screen.

So what this enables you to do is actually see what's going on in the room. So down here at the bottom, we do have these buttons that you can see and there's different capabilities and features. One of those buttons, if you select it and you select this part right here will actually pull up what is going on in this environment specifically. So you saw a sample of it from my presentation. But this is an actual real-time on the board. If I'm ready to switch back to my presentation, I can just select this here and select USB-C 1, which is what I am connected by, and it will switch back to my presentation.

She clicks on the second button to the left at the bottom right of the screen, which is a part of the casing, prompting a new side navigation bar to appear. From there she clicks the third option from the top which switches to the live view of the screen. Then she taps on the first option which extends the menu to the left where she clicks USB 1 to reopen the presentation.

Once you look at the sensor hubs, some of the information that you want to know from there is actually the Synappx WorkSpaces. So this gives me information on what the sensor hub has provided. And I can look at reports, I can look at temperatures. I can look at controls. All of this is a report that shows me over a period of time that I've selected and this is my dashboard. But then I can go into specific reports. And the specific reports look like this so it can tell me how many meetings have been held in this space, average attendees per meeting and what's going on within the air quality because that's the report I selected. So the advantages of the Sharp windows collaboration display, it's ready to work in your LEED Gold environment. It has 70 inch edge to edge glass, capacitive touch technology. It can also do dual screen casting. So if you have multiple people presenting in a room, you can actually connect two to the board at the same time and have both of those displaying. Or one can lead over the other. You also have daisy chaining capability and what that means is I can connect two boards at the same time. So if you're in a larger environment, you do have that capability to be able to project across two boards. It has dual system on chip 4K modular camera with the vertical tilt. It has the added sensor features that we have discussed. It does have wireless casting capabilities for either laptops, Windows or Android devices. It has two USB-C inputs and an eight meter USB-C cable that comes included with the board. So with that, when we look at that information because you're currently using Digital Twin, this is going to connect well within your environment, it's gonna help you with reporting and making adjustments within your conference spaces. it's gonna enable you to better communicate with Skype for business or through Microsoft Teams, and you'll be able to see within your usage whether or not people are actually attending meetings or just scheduling the rooms. And then collaboration within your huddle spaces. Quick collaboration with those that are outside the environment and you're able to work with them through Teams or Skype.

When she toggles to the next slide a display of info graphs appears which showcase information about the room.

So some of our next steps, we're going to do an onsite walkthrough of the plan spaces just to be able to confirm configurations, whether you need one board or two within a space, what are we going to do about smaller spaces where maybe the 70 inch board is too large, whether or not you want this on a wall or cart and where it would fit within a room environment. After that, we're actually gonna also set up a software demo so we can look at that Synappx WorkSpaces, and that's gonna be handled by our technology integration manager so they can show you information within your own environment as well. And that is also part of our onsite demonstration. So we'll bring the board out to your space, enable you to utilize it and see what's going on in your environment. And also find out how easy it is to use. And to do that, one of the things that I do want to show you is just show right here, I have these capabilities of the board. So I can select this and if I select home, it's gonna take me out to the board itself. So from here, I can do different things. I can look at settings, I could do different capabilities. I can work within that environment. But then I can go right back to my laptop because this is where I'm gonna have all of my information. And then finally, we're gonna talk about proposals and implementation. So implementation is when you're looking to have this implemented within your environment, what the capabilities are and what you're looking to be able to do. So I thank you for attending this demonstration today. For further information, please check out the link.

She clicks on the second button on the screen casing itself, which reopens the side bar navigation, where she taps on the second option to open settings then the first option to reopen USB 1 to return to the presentation.
